• The journal FruiTrop

Full information on the international fresh and processed fruit and vegetable markets, published in separate French and English editions.

FruiTrop is intended for a broad public of private and public decision makers and has readers in more than 50 countries. New full-colour design was launched in early 2007, with the journal centred on a complete thematic section.

• Economic analyses
CIRAD Market News Service belongs to various professional groups (especially for banana and citrus) and participates in professional congresses and meetings and draws up full economic analyses of a product or a specific question. These analyses can be downloaded free of charge.
• Weekly market reports
Every week, MNS and its partners perform a detailed analysis of the supplying of the EU Market with banana, avocado, pineapple, litchi, mango, citrus fruits, etc., setting out the volumes released on the market, the prices at import, wholesale and retail stages and market trends. A monthly recapitulation of the weekly reports is published in FruiTrop in French and in English.
• Professional days
These are aimed at being responses of the research and development sector to the preoccupations of operators in the fresh and processed citrus and tropical fruit and vegetable sectors. CIRAD regularly organises professional days and annual meetings addressing various plants and areas of activity. These forums are attended by both professionals and scientists, making them excellent occasions for dialogue and discussion. Each participant can broaden his/her knowledge and sketch new prospects. All the professional days have a dedicated website with the programme and the proceedings.
